Sinds 1962 omvat het eigendom van het Kasteel van Monsanto ongeveer 25 hectare wijngaarden, grenzend aan de rest van het land, die zijn gelegen binnen het productiegebied van de Chianti Colli Senesi. Hier wordt de jongste en meest verse wijn van het bedrijf geproduceerd: de Monrosso. Gefinifieerd in roestvrij staal met maceraties van 12/15 dagen, rijpt het in Slavische eiken vaten gedurende 12 maanden voor de verkoop.

Castello Monsanto

Aldo Bianchi, born in San Gimignano, left Tuscany before the Second World War to seek his fortune in Northern Italy. In 1960, returning to the area for a wedding, he was enchanted by the view from the terrace of the Castle of Monsanto: the entire Val d'Elsa with the incomparable backdrop of the Towers of San Gimignano. A stroke of lightning that made him buy the property in a few months. But if Aldo was bewitched by the landscape, Fabrizio, his son, immediately fell in love with the wines he found in the cellar. Thanks to his grandmother's passion for wine and his innate entrepreneurial spirit, Fabrizio, together with the tireless help of his wife Giuliana, began planting new vineyards and renovating the many farmhouses. ..... from here begins an incredible story of love, passion and joy for wine and everything that surrounds it.
