Pasta Etna comes from the only Sicilian grain guaranteed by the DNV-GL Certificate. The respect of the traditional process includes the vacuum-packing of the semolina dough and the use of water from Etna volcano springs.
The bronze drawing gives Pasta Etna the porosity and the raw color typical of artisan pasta, while the slow drying preserves the nutritional value of proteins, minerals and vitamins intact. The high protein content, typical of Sicilian grains, gives Pasta Etna its roughness and al dente consistency.
