Dulcioliva is a historic company founded in Piedmont in 1924 by the Brothers Luigi and Cesare Oliva. Thanks to an interesting collaboration and experience gained with Angelino Motta in Milan, they developed in their first laboratory located in Borgo S. Dalmazzo, exquisite confectionery recipes for Panettoni, Hazelnut Cakes, Biscuits, Chocolate Pralines, and Gianduiotti. In a short time the Oliva Brothers sensed that among the many sweets in production, the 'Borghigiano' - a delicate praline made of a dark chocolate shell with a soft filling of custard and Rhum - deserved special attention, therefore, yes they concentrated on this product improving the original recipe so as to extend the preservation period without the addition of preservatives, managing to guarantee the freshness of this chocolate for a longer period: the 'Cuneese al Rhum' was born. Since then the company's history has been closely linked to that of the family: now in its third generation, represented by Giuseppe Oliva, the founder's grandson, the company does not see its objective changed: to continue the business bringing the brand of “Oliva” family not only in Italy but all over the world and offer its customers an assortment of chocolate-based products that are increasingly complete and delicious, with absolute respect for Quality, Costanza and Tradition.
