Organic Chestnut Honey Jar 300g
Honey that is liquid, very slow crystallization and amber color, dark, with reddish notes similar to agate. It has a vegetal, intense, penetrating and pungent aroma. The taste is bitterish, astringent to the palate, slightly tannic, with notes of cocoa beans, carob and tobacco. It is harvested in the chestnut woods of the Alps and Apennines, especially in late summer.

The hives of our beekeepers are located far from sources of pollution and the bees are raised in total respect of their biorhythms, treated with natural systems to defend them from disease.
Mielizia honeys are not pasteurized: they are produced at a temperature never higher than 40°, the temperature of the beehive, in order to maintain intact flavor, aroma and nutrients.
