Distilleria Quaglia

Distilleria Quaglia

In 1890 we were already thinking about the future, today, looking to the past, we make live our tradition. The distillery of Castelnuovo Don Bosco was born in the years immediately following the unification of Italy in the sunny hills between Monferrato and the hill around Turin, which have been considered the land of great wine tradition all along. In 1906 it was bought by Mr. Giuseppe Quaglia, who expands it, digs the well for the water supply, installs a boiler for the steam production. In 1930 the company's management is passed on to his son Carlo who, under the wise guidance of his father, learns the secrets of distillation, refines and modernizes the bottling area, greatly increases the production capacity by employing 35 people. Today the company is directed by Carlo, great-grandchild of the founder, who dedicates himself to his work by bringing new ideas and energy, enriching the range of products with liquor specialties produced following the rules of Piedmont artisan excellence which uses the best raw materials of natural origin. So we have products such as RatafiƠ obtained from Pecetto cherries, GenepƬ, Barolo Chinato, and Crema Gianduia, particularly suitable for those who wish to know and appreciate new and refined specialties. In compliance with the tradition and authenticity, he continues the activity of a company that through the work of four generations, constantly can update and progress to fully satisfy the needs of customers by offering a product that contains the finest quality.
