Product information "Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Regius DOP x 6 btls"

Highly structured, complex and full-bodied wine. Its color is deep ruby red. Aromas are intense and enveloping: black fruit such as blueberries and wild cherries leave room for dark floral, toasted and spicy tones. Myrtle, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, undergrowth smells and other balsamic enrich a broad and complex bouquet. It is vigorous in the mouth: tannic, soft, fresh, warm, harmonious and enveloping.

Coste di Brenta

On the hill "Masseria Coste di Brenta", in the Lancianese area, between the Adriatic Sea and the Maiella mountains, stands the homonymous farm. It extends for 15 hectares, at an average altitude of 200 meters above sea level. Recently renovated, it skillfully brings with it the experience and love for the land, handed down by two generations of winemakers, harmoniously merging the ancient art of cultivation of the vine and "making wine", with the most 'modern methods and technologies. The system of rearing the old vines, over 30 years old, is an Abruzzi pergola, the one adopted in recent years is a row of vines with a high intensity of 5000 vines per hectare, in order to improve the quality of the grapes. The soil is of medium texture, clayey and calcareous.
The preparation for quality begins in the field with targeted pruning, selection of the bunches, collection in crates and continues in the cellar with thermo-conditioned winemaking and other measures that are adopted in order to obtain DOC and IGT wines, both red and white, of great value.
