Product information "Muraia Terre Di Chieti x 6 btls"

The Muraia 2002 was awarded the "Top Gold" prize at the American wine competition Starwine International Wine Competition 2005 and a "Silber-Medaille" at the wine competition International Weinpreis Mundus Vini 2006 in Germany.

Ruby red colour, intense bouquet of ripe red fruit with spicy notes. Full and round taste, rightly balanced. The olfactory examination focuses, in a harmonious way, towards hints of spice and vanilla. Persistent on the palate. Full-bodied.

It is recommended to uncork the wine a couple of hours before serving, so that it is properly oxygenated. The ideal serving temperature is 18-20 degrees C. It goes well with important first courses, roast meats and game, mature cheeses.

Terre di Poggio

The Terre di Poggio winery is located in Poggiofiorito, a territory with a strong wine-growing vocation thanks to the favourable climatic conditions and the soil: 300 metres above sea level, a few kilometres from the Adriatic and the Maiella massif behind. The winery, with an area of 25 hectares planted with rows of native vines and new varieties, in recent years has wanted to continue the ancient tradition in a path of quality 'that has brought success and recognition together with a high level of satisfaction from the most' demanding consumers. The wines, of excellent quality, are the result of the most modern oenological techniques, but above all they are the indissoluble result with the territory and the patrimony of the founder, Destro Carulli, oenologist with a long and proven experience. The history, the landscape, the climate and the intrinsic characteristics of the soil give these wines a unique personality and identity.
